近期需要前往澳洲的小伙伴們需要注意了，移民與邊境保護部的員工再鬧大罷工，時間為9月16日至18日以及9月21日至23日，同時，簽證也預計會延長審理時間。



2015年9月14日，移民與邊境保護部消息：移民與邊境保護部的員工（包括澳洲邊境部隊）里的社區和公共部門公會的會員將會從這周開始在特定時間段進行 罷工。罷工時間從周三到周五( 2015年9月16-18日)和接下來的周一到周三( 2015年9月21-23日)，再次期間國際航班可能受到延誤。
邊境部隊的委員會代理人Stephen Allen稱：游客們不必為此趕到擔憂和驚慌，只是時間會有些延誤，建議旅客們預備出更多的時間辦理出入境手續，提早到達機場進行安檢，安檢結束后盡快到 達出入境大廳辦理離境手續。同時，Stephen Allen表示將會把這次罷工的影響降到最低，始終將公眾的健康與安全放在首位。
