英國簽證申請將采用在線預約、填表系統

從2012年4月16日周一開始,所有中國境內的英國簽證申請須通過英國邊境管理局(U K Border Agency)的在線申請系統完成。
4月16日及之后的簽證申請,您需要:
? 在線填寫及提交簽證申請表 - www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk ? 在線完成與簽證申請中心的預約;以及
? 到訪最近的簽證申請中心,提交打印完成的簽證申請表格,支持材料, 完成生物信息采集以及支付簽證費用。
在線申請 當您完成在線申請表格后,您需要將表格打印出來并在相應位置簽名。如果您在填寫
時沒有打印設備,您可以日后重新登陸并打印。
預約
作為在線申請的一部分,您需在到訪簽證申請中心前使用在線功能進行預約。您可以 在線預訂,更改或取消您的預約。您需要在在線表格填寫及提交后的30天之內完成預 約。您在申請中心的材料提交過程一般不會超過30分鐘。如果您的情況比較緊急,您 可以無需在線預約即前往簽證申請中心,但您花費的時間會相應的增加。我們接受未
預約申請的受理時間為周一到周五,上午8點(北京地區為7.30)至上午9點。 夏令營和指定目的地旅游計劃(ADS)同樣需要在線申請,但該類簽證無需進行在線預
約。團隊領隊可直接聯系當地英國簽證申請中心進行團體預約。 到訪簽證申請中心 您必須本人前往簽證申請中心來完成您的申請。您需要提交:
? 一份打印好并簽名的在線申請表格, ? 您的護照,
? 您的支持材料,
? 支付簽證費用。
? 我們會采集您的生物信息(頭像照及指紋)
從4月16日開始,我們會繼續接受手寫的申請表格。此過渡期會持續兩個禮拜。從201 2年4月30日開始,我們將只接受在線申請。
請盡早提交您的簽證申請。我們的工作目標是90%的非定居類審批可在15個工作日( 三周)內完成。
From Monday 16th April 2012 all UK visa applications from China should be completed via the online application system on the UK Border Agency website www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk.
To apply for a visa from the 16th April you must:

? Complete and submit a visa application form online at www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk

? Make an online appointment to visit your local visa application centre; and
-
? Visit your local visa application centre to submit a print out of your application, supporting documents, biometric information and pay the visa fee.
Applying online
Once you have completed your online application form, you will need to print and sign your completed form. If you do not have access to a printer when you apply, you will be able to log in and print out the form later.
Making an appointment
As part of your online application, you should use the online appointment system to book an appointment to attend the visa application centre. You can book, change or cancel your booking online. Your appointment must be no more than 30 days after the date when you completed and submitted your online visa application form. Your appointment should take no longer than 30 minutes. If you urgently need to submit an application you can attend your local application centre without an appointment,
but this will take considerably longer. We only accept applications without an appointment between the hours of 8:00am (7:30 in Beijing) and 9:00am Monday to Friday.
(Summer School and ADS groups must complete an online application, but should not make an online appointment. The group leader should contact the local UK visa application centre to make a group appointment)
Visiting the application Centre
To complete the application process you must visit the application centre in person. You will need to submit:

? a signed print out of the online application form,

? your passport,
-
? your supporting documents,
-
? pay the visa fee.

? We will collect your biometrics (digital photo and fingerscan).
As a transitional arrangement we will continue to accept handwritten application forms for two weeks from the 16th April. From the 30th April 2012 we will only accept online applications.
Please remember to submit your application early. Out target is to process 90% of non settlement applications in 15 working days (3 weeks).
